Accessibility Statement

Version 1.0. Bionergyx Private Limited wants everyone to be able to use bionergyx.com, including people who rely on a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced motion.

1. Conformance target

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act and by EN 301 549. We consider the site partially conformant: most requirements are met, and the exceptions we know about are listed below.

2. Measures we have taken

• A “Skip to main content” link as the first focusable element on every page.
• A visible focus indicator on every link, button, form field and menu control.
• One H1 per page and headings in a logical order.
• Text alternatives on meaningful images; decorative background imagery is marked as decorative so screen readers ignore it.
• Form fields with permanently visible labels, optional fields marked as optional, and error messages linked programmatically to the field they concern.
• Full keyboard operability, including the mobile menu and the cookie banner, which traps focus while open and closes its preference layer with the Escape key.
• Animations disabled automatically when the operating system requests reduced motion.
• A correct lang attribute (English) on every page, and responsive layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320 px width.
• Body text and interface text sized and coloured for adequate contrast on our navy and light surfaces.

3. Known limitations

• Some smaller supporting text on light backgrounds sits close to the 4.5:1 minimum. A full contrast audit of every state is scheduled: [PLACEHOLDER: target date].
• Decorative photographic backgrounds behind headings can reduce perceived contrast on very bright displays; the text always sits over a darkening layer, but this is being reviewed.
