Cookie Policy
What we store on your device, in which category, and how to change your choice.

Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER: date this policy was published]
Version 2.0 · This policy describes only what this website actually stores. It is a draft prepared for legal review.
1. Cookies, local storage and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and that is sent back to the server with each request. Local storage and session storage keep data in your browser as well, but the data is never transmitted automatically, it is only read by code running on the page. Local storage persists until it is deleted; session storage disappears when you close the tab. European rules on terminal-equipment access (ePrivacy, and § 25 TDDDG in Germany) treat all three the same way: anything that is not strictly necessary requires your prior consent.
2. Consent categories
- Strictly necessary: needed to deliver the pages you request, keep the site secure, and remember your cookie choice. Always active, no consent required.
- Functional: would remember preferences. Off by default.
- Analytics: would measure site usage. Off by default.
- Marketing: would support advertising or cross-site measurement. Off by default.
At the time of writing, no functional, analytics or marketing technology is loaded at all. The categories exist so that consent is already in place if that ever changes. We run no analytics service, no advertising network, no tag manager, no social plugins, and no external fonts: the typefaces used here are served from our own domain.
3. What this website actually stores
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Storage type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| bx_consent | Bionergyx (first party) | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie choice per category, together with the policy version and the timestamp of your decision, so we do not ask again and can prove what you chose | localStorage | 12 months, then your choice is requested again |
| [PLACEHOLDER: name of hosting/CDN security cookie, if any] | [PLACEHOLDER: hosting provider name] | Strictly necessary | Load balancing, denial-of-service protection | Cookie | [PLACEHOLDER: duration set by the hosting provider] |
The website sets no other cookie, no tracking pixel and no device fingerprint. If your browser blocks local storage entirely, the consent banner still works, your choice then applies for the current session only.
4. Withdrawing or changing your consent
Withdrawal is as easy as consent. Select , the link is in the footer of every page, and change any category, or reject everything optional. Your new choice takes effect immediately.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an objection: analytics and marketing remain off even if “Accept all” is selected.
5. Controlling cookies in your browser
Independently of our banner, your browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data. Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each document this in their settings under privacy or site data. Blocking strictly necessary items may stop parts of this site working.
6. Changes
If we introduce any non-essential cookie or storage, we will list it in the table above and request consent before it is set. Material changes raise the consent version, so the banner appears again and asks for a fresh decision.
7. More information
How we handle personal data generally is set out in our Privacy Policy. Provider details are in the Imprint.
